The COVID-19 pandemic is impacting our global community at an unprecedented level. In these times of uncertainty, D-Link is focused on the health and well-being of its employees, customers and partners, as we believe this is one of our primary corporate obligations. While our products and solutions help businesses of any size function daily, at this time we are prioritising customers who are at the forefront of this battle against COVID-19 as well customers who are endeavouring to keep their employees isolated and employed.
To protect the health and well-being of our team, we have taken the decision to base them from home in all our sites across Europe regardless of job function.
Our business partners and customers
Like a lot of businesses, we have received a lot of questions from our business partners and customers asking about the ability to supply products necessary to sustain their business. We want to reassure you; we have a business continuity plan in place, including our supply chain management. With the enforced shut down of our manufacturing facilities earlier in the year, we initially experienced some constraints in Q1. However, as we move into Q2, we expect this to normalise so that the supply chains for critical D-Link products will be restored in the early part of Q2. We continue to monitor and optimise our supply chain daily to ensure that we can support the critical needs of as many customers as possible. We are working with our freight carriers to expedite shipments so that we can get high-demand products into the hands of our customers who need them most.
